Epoxy ambers in direct sun. Our polyaspartic topcoat is UV-stable and does not yellow, so the stretch of floor by the open door still matches the back corner years in.
Pull in after a summer drive and warm tires can soften lesser coatings; that's how epoxy ends up peeling in tire-shaped patches. The polyaspartic top coat is more abrasion-resistant than epoxy, and it resists hot-tire pickup.
Boise gets winter cold snaps too. The polyurea base coat is freeze-thaw flexible, so temperature drops don't crack the floor, and the topcoat stands up to the deicer that rides home on January tires.
