Basement floor coatings inBoise, Idaho.
From North End bungalows with slabs older than your grandfather to new builds in the foothills, Boise basements share one problem: raw concrete. Our Treasure Valley warehouse keeps crews and material local, so fixing it takes about a day, not a waitlist.
Old Boise, new Boise, same cure.
North End and Bench basements run old, damp, and dusty. Out toward Eagle and the foothills, new builds sit unfinished. Both end the same way: ground, sealed, bright.

Century-old slabs
Older Boise basements were never meant to be living space, and the concrete shows it: pitted, dusty, damp in spring. Diamond grinding takes the surface back to sound material, polyurea fills the cracks, and the coating turns a cellar into square footage you would actually send guests down to.
- 02
Unfinished new builds
Builders across the Treasure Valley hand over basements as bare gray concrete. Coat the slab before framing and flooring decisions pile up: the empty room installs fast, and everything you build afterward sits on a sealed, dust-free base. It is the one upgrade that makes every later project cleaner.

High desert swings
Boise runs hot summers and real cold snaps, and slabs move with those swings. A rigid coating cracks; ours rides along. The polyurea base stays flexible through freeze-thaw, and the UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat will not yellow in a walkout basement that catches hard afternoon sun.
From slab to living space.
Our Boise warehouse covers the full Treasure Valley, which for basement work means same-week scheduling and no trip charge from the Bench out to Star or Middleton. Every install runs the complete system: diamond-grind prep, polyurea in cracks and joints, a polyurea base coat, hand-broadcast flake or silica to full refusal, then the UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat that makes the floor 4x harder than epoxy.
The estimate is free and happens at your slab, moisture check included. You get a fixed written price, samples of 13 flake blends and 1,700+ silica colors set on your own concrete, and an in-house crew on install day, no subcontractors. Most homes are walkable in about 8 hours and fully cured in about 72. Residential floors carry a lifetime warranty.
- Seals concrete dust for good: no more gray film on everything
- Light flake and silica blends brighten a dark basement fast
- Moisture-tolerant system once the slab is properly prepped
- Installed in about a day, cured for foot traffic in about 8 hours

One crew, one day, most floors.
The same process on every slab we touch, whether it is next door or across town.
- 01
Moisture check and grind
We test the slab at your free estimate, then diamond-grind and fill cracks and joints with polyurea so the system bonds to clean, open concrete.
- 02
Base coat and broadcast
A polyurea base coat, then your flake or silica blend broadcast to full refusal. Light blends do serious work in a basement.
- 03
Topcoat, back downstairs
The polyaspartic topcoat cures for foot traffic in about 8 hours, so the basement is out of commission for about a day, not a week.
Basement floor questions in Boise.
Our North End basement gets damp every spring. Can you coat it?
In most cases, yes. We put a moisture reading on the slab at the free estimate, and a properly ground and prepped slab handles the seasonal moisture old Boise basements push up. The coating will not fix active seepage, and if that is what we find we will point you at the right fix before ours.
How fast can you get to a Boise basement job?
Usually the same week. The warehouse, crews, and material are all local to the Treasure Valley, so there is no waiting on a truck from somewhere else. Call 208-500-1043, we measure free, and most residential basements are ground, coated, and finished in a single install day.
Is coating better than carpet for a basement home gym?
By a wide margin. Carpet under a squat rack compresses, holds sweat, and traps slab moisture underneath. The coating gives you a hard, seamless surface that racks and cardio machines sit flat on, with rubber mats only where you drop weight. When the workout is over, the floor mops clean.
Will the color fade in a bright walkout basement?
No. The topcoat is polyaspartic and UV-stable, the same chemistry we trust on garage aprons under full Boise summer sun, so a walkout with big south glass will not yellow or chalk. That is a real difference from epoxy, which ambers with UV exposure.
How much should I budget for a Boise basement?
Depends on the square footage and what the slab needs, which is why the estimate happens on site and costs nothing. The price we write down is fixed: no surprise charges on install day. One visit to measure, one day to install, lifetime warranty on the finished residential floor. Call 208-500-1043.
