Driveway and patio coatings inBoise, Idaho.
High desert sun is the test most coatings fail. Epoxy yellows and chalks its first Boise summer. Our UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat does not, which is why we will put it on a Bench driveway or a foothills pool deck and warranty it for life.
Sun this strong needs UV-stable chemistry.
July on an unshaded slab is a UV torture test. Add hot-tire season, sprinkler overspray, and January cold snaps, and Treasure Valley concrete needs a coating built for extremes.

Pool decks that grip
A Boise pool deck spends the summer wet, barefoot, and in full sun. Silica broadcast gives the surface real traction without shredding feet, and the UV-stable topcoat holds its color instead of fading to chalk. Pick from more than 1,700 silica colors, with samples set out by your own pool.

Hot-tire season
Park on a cheap coating after a run up the freeway in July and the tires peel it off the driveway in strips. That failure is called hot-tire pickup, and resisting it is a core spec of our system. The polyaspartic surface takes hot rubber without softening or delaminating.

Cold snaps covered
The high desert swings hard: triple digits in summer, sudden freezes in winter. A rigid coating cracks at the first real cold snap. Ours rides on a polyurea base that stays flexible below freezing, with cracks and joints pre-filled in polyurea so the slab's movement has nowhere to telegraph through.
Built for outdoors.
Our Boise warehouse keeps crews and material in the Treasure Valley full time, which means same-week scheduling and no trip charge from Star to Kuna. Exterior work gets slotted into temperature windows, and in the Valley those windows are generous most of the year. The fast polyaspartic cure means a driveway coated Tuesday morning is finished Tuesday, walkable that evening, and back to parking duty in about 72 hours.
Prep is where the job is won. We diamond-grind the slab, cut out and fill cracks and joints with polyurea, then build up: polyurea base coat, flake or silica hand-broadcast to full refusal, UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. Thirteen flake blends, 1,700+ silica colors, samples brought to your concrete. Free on-site measure, fixed written price, no surprise charges, and no high-pressure routine while you think it over.
- UV-stable outdoors: full sun will not yellow or chalk it
- Sheds road salt, deicer, and snowmelt instead of absorbing them
- Flake or silica broadcast adds real wet-weather slip resistance
- Drive on it again in about 72 hours

Repair and grind outside
Exterior slabs usually need work first: polyurea in the cracks and joints, spall repair, then a full diamond grind of the surface.
- 02
Base and broadcast for grip
The polyurea base coat goes down and flake or silica is broadcast to refusal, building in the texture that keeps wet concrete walkable.

UV-stable topcoat
The polyaspartic topcoat is built for full sun and freeze-thaw. Walk on it the same day, drive on it in about 72 hours.
Driveway and patio questions in Boise.
Will the color fade in full Boise sun?
No. Fading and yellowing are UV problems, and polyaspartic is UV-stable by formulation. That is the specific reason epoxy cannot be used outdoors and ours can. A south-facing driveway in the foothills sees the harshest light in the Valley, and the finish holds its color there year after year.
How fast can you get to a job in Boise?
Crews and material stage out of our Boise warehouse, so most exterior jobs land on the schedule the same week you call. The free measure comes first: we walk the slab, bring samples, and hand you a fixed written price. Call 208-500-1043 and we will find the next weather window that fits.
Can a pool deck be coated without making it slippery?
That is the standard build, not a special request. Silica or flake broadcast to full refusal creates texture through the whole surface, so wet bare feet grip instead of skating. We tune how aggressive the texture feels, and you test cured samples in person before choosing. Kids cannonballing all summer is the design condition.
My North End driveway is old and stained. Coat or replace?
Coat, in most cases. Older Boise slabs are usually structurally sound under a rough surface. We grind off the stains and weathering, repair spalls, fill cracks with polyurea, and build the new system on clean concrete for a fraction of replacement cost. If your slab genuinely needs tear-out, we say so at the measure.
How long do I stay off the new driveway?
Foot traffic in about 8 hours, vehicles in about 72. In Boise heat the cure runs reliably, and we still confirm exact timing against the day's temperatures rather than quoting a one-size answer. Plan on street parking for three days, then drive on it like you mean it.
