No, and that is half the point. Road salt, brine, deicer and traction sand are exactly what this system was built to face. The topcoat resists deicer chemistry, so brine and salt sit on the surface instead of soaking in. Rinse it in spring and most of that chemistry goes down the drain, not into your slab.
