Concrete repair inMeridian, Idaho.
Meridian is one of the fastest-growing cities in Idaho, and a few years in, a lot of those new three-car garage slabs start showing cracks. We repair them from our Treasure Valley warehouse: diagnose the cause, grind, fill with polyurea, done.
Fast growth, slow settling.
Most Meridian concrete is young. Young slabs crack for different reasons than old ones, and knowing the difference is most of the repair.
- 01
Production-pour shortcuts
When a builder pours forty slabs a month, control joints sometimes get cut late or shallow, and shrinkage cracks wander wherever they want. It is cosmetic today and a maintenance problem in five years. We grind the stray cracks out, fill them with polyurea, and put the floor back to plan.
- 02
Subdivision settling
Neighborhoods like Paramount and Bridgetower went from farm field to full build-out fast, and the ground under new slabs keeps compacting for years afterward. Slabs move, corners drop slightly, cracks open. Filled early with flexible polyurea, they stay hairline instead of growing teeth.
- 03
Heat, UV, cold snaps
South Meridian summers bake uncovered aprons and garage thresholds, then winter cold snaps whip the temperature the other way. That cycling works every crack wider each season. Our fills flex through the swings, and a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat over the slab shrugs off the sun entirely.
Fix it once.
We start by reading the slab: crack pattern, joint layout, where the water goes. That tells us whether you have settling, shrinkage, or a finishing problem, and each one gets a different fix. Then we diamond-grind, rebuild cracks and control joints with polyurea, and restore a flat, tight surface that is ready for daily traffic or a full coating.
Meridian is core territory for the warehouse crew, which keeps scheduling quick and pricing clean: free on-site measure, fixed written number, zero surprise charges. Many customers pair the repair with our flake or silica coating system, one day for most garages, walk on it in about 8 hours, park in about 72. Repair alone is fine too. Your floor, your call.
- Polyurea crack fill stays flexible through freeze-thaw cycles
- Diamond grinding, not acid etching, for a real mechanical bond
- Repair only, or repair plus a coating that seals the fix in
- Fixed written price after a free on-site assessment

One crew, one day, most floors.
The same process on every slab we touch, whether it is next door or across town.
- 01
Diagnose the cause
Cracks, spalling, and pitting all have a reason: water, deicer, settling, or a bad original pour. We find it first so the repair holds.
- 02
Grind and fill
We diamond-grind the damaged area and fill cracks, joints, and spalls with polyurea that cures fast and stays flexible through freeze-thaw.
- 03
Blend or coat
Repair-only slabs get the surface blended back in. Most customers have us seal the fix under a polyaspartic coating so the damage never returns.
Concrete repair questions in Meridian.
Should the builder have prevented these cracks?
Some cracking is inevitable; concrete shrinks as it cures, and control joints only manage where it cracks, not whether. Fast production schedules can leave joints cut late, which lets cracks stray. None of it means your slab is defective. It means a routine repair, and it is a quick one when caught early.
Is a hairline crack even worth repairing?
Yes, and it is the cheapest repair you will ever schedule. A hairline is an open door: water gets in, winter freezes it, UV and traffic work the edges, and in a few seasons it is wide and ragged. Filled now with flexible polyurea, it stays a line instead of becoming a project.
Do repaired floors still qualify for a coating later?
They are the best candidates. Our repair uses the exact prep a coating requires: diamond grinding and polyurea-filled cracks and joints. When you are ready for the full system, polyurea base coat, flake broadcast to refusal, polyaspartic topcoat, the groundwork is already done. One day. Park on it this week.
What does the whole process look like start to finish?
Call 208-500-1043 or book online. We come out free, measure, diagnose the cracking, and write a fixed price. On job day the crew grinds, fills, and finishes, almost always in one day for a residential garage. You get before and after photos and a floor that reads as one clean surface again.
Will new cracks show up somewhere else?
If the ground is still settling, possibly, and we tell you honestly when we see signs of active movement. What will not happen is the repaired cracks reopening: polyurea flexes with seasonal movement instead of breaking loose. Most Meridian slabs finish settling within their first several years, so repairs made now tend to be permanent.
