Polyaspartic floor coatings inSpokane, Washington.

Spokane slabs have seen some things. Between older housing stock and the magnesium chloride on the roads all winter, most garage floors here are pitted, dusty and stained. We grind all that off and build a polyaspartic system that will not go backwards.

Why Spokane concrete needs the upgrade.

A worn South Hill slab and a new build in Mead fail differently, but they are saved the same way: real prep, real repair, and a topcoat that seals out winter.

02 / 05Under the shine

The system under the shine.

We are fully licensed in Washington and our crews are in Spokane daily; the shop is 34 miles east, close enough that there is no job minimum on this side of the line. Every floor gets diamond grinding, polyurea crack and joint repair, a polyurea base coat, flake or silica to full refusal, and the UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat that makes the whole stack about 4x harder than epoxy.

Quoting is simple: a rep meets you at the house, from Liberty Lake to Cheney, measures the floor, sets flake and silica samples on your concrete, and writes a fixed price. No pressure, no games with the number. Residential floors carry a lifetime warranty; commercial floors carry 15 years. Most residential installs finish in one day.

  • Polyurea base coat for adhesion, polyaspartic topcoat for armor
  • Wide install temperature window, built for short coating seasons
  • UV-stable and chemical-resistant: salt, oil, and deicer wipe off
  • Walk on it in about 8 hours, drive on it in about 72

03 / 05Your install

One crew, one day, most floors.

The same process on every slab we touch, whether it is next door or across town.

  1. 01

    Diamond-grind prep

Every install starts with grinding the slab and filling cracks and joints with polyurea. No shortcuts, because adhesion is the whole ballgame.

  2. 02

    Polyurea base, full broadcast

The polyurea base coat goes down, then flake or silica is hand-broadcast to full refusal: 13 flake blends or 1,700+ silica colors.

  3. 03

    Polyaspartic topcoat

The UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat seals the system. Walk on it in about 8 hours, drive on it in about 72, and it will not yellow.

04 / 05Common questions

Polyaspartic questions in Spokane.

Are you licensed to work in Washington?

Yes. Rhino Coatings is fully licensed in Washington, and Spokane is part of our daily route, not an occasional stretch. The shop is 34 miles away in Coeur d'Alene, so crews, material and warranty support all sit close. Same fixed pricing and lifetime residential warranty on both sides of the state line.

My garage floor is badly pitted from deicer. Can it still be coated?

Yes, and it is the most common Spokane job we do. We grind past the pitting, rebuild low spots and spalled areas with polyurea filler, and then coat sound concrete. The flake broadcast hides the repair completely. Once sealed, magnesium chloride loses its grip: drips sit on the topcoat where a mop gets them instead of soaking into the slab.

Is polyaspartic really that different from epoxy?

Different chemistry, different lifespan. Polyaspartic is about 4x harder and more abrasion resistant, stays flexible through freeze-thaw, and is UV-stable so it never yellows. Epoxy chalks in sunlight, goes brittle in cold, and peels where hot tires sit. We install polyaspartic over a polyurea base precisely because Spokane winters kill lesser floors.

How much does a coated floor cost in Spokane?

It depends on square footage and how much repair the slab needs, which is why we quote at your floor instead of over the phone. The measure is free, the price is fixed in writing, and there are no surprise charges after. Call 208-500-1043 and we can usually get a rep out fast.

Do you take on commercial floors in Spokane?

Yes. Warehouses, showrooms and shop bays from downtown Spokane out to Airway Heights get a heavier build of the same system: grind, polyurea base, broadcast, polyaspartic topcoat. The commercial spec is warrantied for 15 years. Fast cure matters here too: coat over a weekend and wheels are back on the floor early the following week.
