Polyaspartic floor coatings inHayden, Idaho.
Hayden has two kinds of concrete: tight new subdivision garages off Government Way and big acreage shops with room for a lift. Polyaspartic handles both, cures in a day, and keeps its color whether the door stays shut or the sun pours in.
One system for every Hayden floor.
Whether it is a new-build garage or a shop floor that sees a plow truck every morning, the chemistry is the same and it is built for this climate.

Big shops, heavy use
Acreage properties around Hayden run real equipment: tractors, trailers, wood stoves, welders. A polyaspartic-topped floor takes dropped tools and dragged steel without gouging, and spilled oil or hydraulic fluid wipes off instead of soaking in. It is about 4x more abrasion resistant than epoxy, which matters when chains hit the floor.
- 02
Winter in, winter out
Every vehicle that comes in off Government Way in January brings snowmelt, salt and gravel with it. The polyurea base flexes through freeze-thaw while the topcoat seals the surface, so brine sits on top instead of working into the concrete. Hose it toward the drain in spring and the floor looks new.

Sunlit floors stay true
South-facing garages near Hayden Lake and in Dalton Gardens get real sun through open doors all summer. Epoxy ambers within a season of that. The polyaspartic topcoat is UV-stable, so the flake blend you pick from our samples is the color you will still have in ten years.
The system under the shine.
Prep decides whether a coating lasts, so we do not skip it. Diamond grinders open the slab, cracks and joints get filled with polyurea, then the polyurea base coat goes down, flake or silica is hand-broadcast to full refusal, and everything is locked under a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat. One day of work for most residential floors, walkable in about 8 hours.
Our shop sits just down the road, so Hayden jobs get our fastest scheduling. In-house crews only, a veteran-owned company, and every residential floor is backed by a lifetime warranty. Pick from over a dozen flake blends or a wide catalog of stain-matched silica colors, with samples set on your actual concrete so you can judge them in your own light.

Diamond-grind prep
Every install starts with grinding the slab and filling cracks and joints with polyurea. No shortcuts, because adhesion is the whole ballgame.
- 02
Polyurea base, full broadcast
The polyurea base coat goes down, then flake or silica is hand-broadcast to full refusal: 13 flake blends or 1,700+ silica colors.

Polyaspartic topcoat
The UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat seals the system. Walk on it in about 8 hours, drive on it in about 72, and it will not yellow.
Polyaspartic questions in Hayden.
Why choose polyaspartic over epoxy for a Hayden garage?
Three reasons. It is about 4x harder and more abrasion resistant, so studded-tire grit and dropped tools do less damage. It is UV-stable, so it never yellows in a sun-facing bay. And it flexes with the slab through freeze-thaw instead of cracking. Epoxy loses on all three around here.
Can you do a big detached shop, not just a garage?
Shops are half our Hayden work. Bigger slabs on acreage properties get the same grind, polyurea base and polyaspartic topcoat, and larger floors may run more than one day depending on repairs. You still get a fixed written price up front and a firm schedule before we load the trailer.
Does polyaspartic work on outdoor concrete?
Yes. Because the topcoat is UV-stable, it holds up on covered patios and walkways where sunlight would destroy epoxy. Around Hayden Lake we typically recommend silica broadcast outdoors: it gives a natural stone texture with more grip underfoot when wet. Bare exposed slabs in full weather get evaluated case by case at the free measure.
My slab has spalling near the door. Is it coatable?
Almost certainly. Spalling at the threshold is standard North Idaho damage: water gets in, freezes, and pops the surface. We grind past the weak material, rebuild the damaged areas with polyurea filler, and coat over sound concrete. The repair disappears under the flake and the sealed surface stops the cycle from starting again.
How fast can you get me on the schedule?
Hayden is about as close to the shop as it gets, so usually fast. Call 208-500-1043, we will measure the floor free of charge, hand you a fixed price, and book the install. Most residential jobs are one day on site, walkable that evening, and ready for vehicles in about 72 hours.
