Garage cabinets inBoise, Idaho.
In Boise the garage door goes up in May and mostly stays up. That turns the garage into a second room: bike shop, project bench, the coolest place to work at four in the afternoon. It also means the whole street can see what is stacked against the back wall.
With the door up all summer, everything shows.
Treasure Valley three-car garages come with long, blank walls and a summer routine that keeps them open. What sits on those walls becomes part of how the house looks from the driveway.

A wall that closes
Open shelving reads as clutter from the street no matter how carefully it is loaded. The Garage Vault series is a run of full-height pantry doors standing 84 inches tall, so everything disappears behind one flat face. From the Bench up toward the foothills it is the quickest way to make an open garage look finished rather than exposed.

Set up to actually work in
If the garage is where projects happen once it gets too hot to be outside, the Tradesman run is the better fit. Base cabinets give you a 30 inch high work surface, 12 inch deep overheads sit above without leaning over you, and the slatwall run puts the tools you reach for in front of you instead of in a drawer across the room.

Local crews, same-week measure
Our Boise warehouse keeps crews in the Treasure Valley, so the on-site design consultation is usually a same-week appointment from the North End out to Eagle, Star, and Kuna. On a two-part project that matters, because the floor coating and the cabinet set have to be sequenced by one company rather than two.
Built for how you use the garage.
Most Boise cabinet jobs ride along with a floor, and the sequence is the same every time. We measure the wall and lay out a 10, 12, or 14 foot run at the design consultation. The slab gets ground and coated. Once it has cured, the same crew sets the cabinets on a finished floor instead of raw concrete. If your garage is already coated, cabinet-only installs are welcome and nothing about the layout changes.
A Treasure Valley three-car usually has one bay that is not really parking. It is the bike wall, the bench, the seasonal pile, or all three stacked into the same corner. A cabinet run is what gives that bay a job it can do, and often gives the third parking space back. Both series are made-in-USA melamine in 10, 12, and 14 foot configurations, so the real decision is whether that wall wants doors across it or a work surface under it. Colors get chosen in person from 18 finishes, in your garage, not off a screen.
- Made-in-USA melamine, not a flat-pack box you assemble on the garage floor
- Garage Vault: floor-to-ceiling pantry doors for a clean wall of storage
- Tradesman: bases, overheads, and a slatwall run for hanging tools
- 18 colors, matched in person at your design consultation

Designed on site, built to your wall.
The design consultation and the build come first, and the install visit follows, whether the floor is going in with them or already finished.

Measure and design
We measure the wall, talk through how you actually use the garage, and lay out a 10, 12, or 14 foot run in the series that fits. Colors get picked in person, not off a screen.
- 02
Build and finish the floor first
Cabinets are built to your layout while the floor goes in. Doing the coating first means the cabinets land on a finished floor instead of a bare slab.
- 03
Install and hand back
The same crew that coated your floor sets the cabinets, levels the run, and hangs the doors. Cabinet-only installs are welcome too if the floor is already done.
Garage cabinets questions in Boise.
Which wall should the run go on in a three-car garage?
Usually the longest uninterrupted one, but that is a decision we make with a tape measure rather than from a floor plan. Three-car garages tend to have one clean wall and one broken up by the door into the house, a water heater, or a window. We lay the run out on the wall that gives you the most continuous face.
How fast can you get out for a measure?
Usually the same week. Our Boise warehouse keeps crews local to the Treasure Valley, so there is no waiting on somebody driving down from out of the area, and there is no trip charge from the Bench out to Star or Middleton. Call 208-500-1043 or book online and the on-site design consultation is free.
Can the floor coating and the cabinets be one project?
That is how most Boise customers do it. The order matters: the coating goes down and cures first so the cabinets land on a finished floor. Same crew for both, one schedule, one point of contact, and the written quote lays the sequence out before anything gets ordered or scheduled.
How are these different from the cabinets at a big box store?
They are made in the USA from melamine and built to a layout we measured in your garage, rather than a carton of panels you assemble on the floor and hope stays square. Our own crew installs them as one leveled run, in the series and the finish you chose in person. In a Boise garage that stands open from May onward, that difference is visible from the driveway.
The garage is our summer workspace. Where does the work surface go?
Under the overheads, on the wall you are not driving past. Base cabinets give you a 30 inch high surface with enclosed storage beneath it, the 12 inch deep overheads sit above without crowding your shoulders, and the slatwall run keeps the tools you reach for within reach. That combination is the Tradesman series, and in a garage worked in from spring through fall it usually beats a solid wall of pantry doors.
